A site dedicated to art created using the flatbed scanner and found objects and materials.

Here are some more scan art images from the past. I search for interesting objects at yard sales, while hiking or beach combing, and in junk or thrift stores. Others are given or loaned to me. I never know when these objects will be used and become part of the creative process, but they stir the pot and get me moving.
I thought I would start this up once again, and restore some of the images that used to be in the old blog and on my website. Scan art is one of the things I do in the winter months and I think it is a important way to make images that many artists and photographers over look. If you see the scanner as another form of digital photography, then it is an additional tool in your creative kit. To start off here are a few older images. I will add new ones as they are created.
